Synopsis A strange infant, Reborn, claiming to be a hitman for the Mafia approaches Tsunayoshi 'Tsuna' Sawada. To Tsuna's dismay, he has just been chosen to become the next Vongola boss. Later as a result of Tsuna actions, due to the Dying will bullet, he has been challenged to a duel, in Ken-do, against Mochida-senpai. Plot Summary: Sawada Tsunayoshi, or Tsuna, our male protagonist, is not good at either studies nor sports. So he gets a tutor who goes by the name of Reborn. Surprisingly, he is a baby and his purpose is to shape Tsuna into the full-fledged 10th boss of the Vongole Family. Reborn teaches Tsuna via shooting him with a Deathperation bullet.

The anime centers around the life of Tsunayoshi 'Tsuna' Sawada, a timid boy who learns he is the great-great-great grandson of the founder of the Italian Vongola crime family. Tsuna, who is the only living heir, must learn to become a proper Mafia boss and is required to undergo training from the Vongola's number one hitman, an infant named Reborn.

Season 2 follows the life of Tsunayoshi 'Tsuna' Sawada, the candidate to be the Mafia boss of the Vongola Famiglia, who must fight against a group of assassins called the Varia who wants to get their leader Xanxus to become the Vongola boss. In order to help Tsuna, some of his friends become guardians for the Vongola to fight the Varia.
Season 3 is a filler season which displays the life of Tsuna and his friends meanwhile after his encounter with the Varia.
